URGENT PUBLIC NOTICE - VINTAGE CLASSIC SPECTACULAR ... GRAFTON ... MAY 18-19
A reference to the Grafton track surface being clay for the abovementioned meeting is incorrect and erroneous.
It will, in fact, be a smooth dirt surface suitable for Solos, Sidecars and Speedcars.
The promotion has added 100 tonnes of granite and rolled, watered and packed it to give a racing surface similar to Harold Park (Sydney).
It will be an old-fashioned smooth DIRT TRACK surface on which Vintage and Classic midgets will be able to perform perfectly.
Speedway World apologises to the Grafton track for conveying the incorrect impression and regrets the error.
